چکیده

The discharge of unsafe color dyes into the effluents various industries can harm environment and human health therefore needs remediation. current research assesses environmental friendly decontamination Alizarin Red S (ARS) dye from industrial aqueous by powder bark a low-cost indigenous plant, Ficus religiosa, as biosorbent. biosorbent was processed, powdered, then characterized via SEM FTIR spectroscopy before after exposure to ARS. For maximum dye-decontamination effluents, adsorption parameters including dosage biosorbent, contact time between shaking temperature process were optimized. images confirmed presence high surface area active binding sites, analysis shows that ARS on adsorbent is due groups like ‒OH, –NH, –CH, C=O C=C. kinetics study follows pseudo-second order kinetic model. Best fit isotherm equilibrium data obtained for Langmuir Freundlich models. phase could be an inexpensive viable way protecting humans carcinogenicity, DNA mutagenicity, jaundices, allergies skin irritations.

Removal of Alizarin Red Dye Using Calcium Hydroxide as a Low-cost Adsorbent

Calcium ions have very strong affinity and binds effectively to alizarin red dye during staining of biomaterials. This promotes us to choose calcium hydroxide as a low cost adsorbent for the removal of alizarin red dye. Various parameters such as pH, concentration, dose of adsorbent, time, and temperature have been investigated. In addition, enthalpy, entropy, free energy and activation energy ...

Synthesis of Nano-Titanium Tannate as an adsorbent for Crystal Violet Dye, Kinetic and Equilibrium Isotherm Studies

The purpose of this study was to prepare nano-titanium tannate complex (TTC) and to investigate its adsorption capacity for removal of cationic dyes such as crystal violet (CV) dye. The morphology and the main elements of TTC adsorbent were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM-EDS), while its crystal structure was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Also, FT-IR spectroscopy ...
